Sound is energy that we can hear. There are many ways to make sounds. Sound is made when an object vibrates. Vibrate means to move back and forth.

Volume is how loud or soft a sound is. You can change the volume of a sound by singing louder of softer, hitting a drum harder or softer and many things.

Sound can be high or low.  Pitch is how high or low a sound is. The pitch of a sound can be changed. It can become higher or lower. When you sing you change the pitch of your voice by following the tune of a song.
