• Temperature is the condition of how hot, warm or cold a thing or place. Temperature is measured in degree by using thermometer.
• The temperature of the air depends on the temperature of the surface below. Also, the air feels colder as you climb up a mountain. This happens because the temperature decreases as you move away from the surface. Thermometer Thermometers measure temperature. “Thermo” means heat and “meter” means to measure. You can use thermometer to measure of many things, including the temperature of the air, our bodies, and the food when we cook.
